Citrus Park Mall- Tampa

This is our first official post.

We went to Citrus Park Mall on Wednesday,  March. 23

Right now they currently have these really tacky indoor plants
As you can see, they're dying and they don't really match anything.

This mall does have a movie theater.  It's a Regal movie theater with possibly the most terrifying escalator EVER.  We couldn't capture a picture of it, but trust us, it's scary.

The food court has good options and a pop art theme decor.

But.. It's dirty...
 yuck..

As you walk around this mall, you'll notice the uneven floor tiles.  It's almost inpossible to not trip at least twice during your visit.  The worst place to walk is in Charlotte Russe.. Yeah.

THIS PLACE ACTUALLY HAS DIRECTORIES (unlike a certain other mall that we will be reviewing sometime soon)

Thirsty?  Well good luck finding a soda machine.
You'll have to look around some corners for these mysterious boxes.

Here's a picture to help guide you

This mall has the worst Macy's ever.  Never, ever has anything in stock.

Want to go to a certain store?  You should call ahead before coming since stores are always moving around or closing down.

Around this mall there are many random statues.. Some are creepy..

How many Aunties Anne's does one mall need??????

(notice the creepy brass baby statue)

The security here seems very laid back.  We sat on this tile center piece for about 50 minutes.

A carousel in a mall? Yep!

If for some reason you don't run into the many directories.  This mall(and I'm assuming all Westfield malls do) has a map app.  It's free.

LOCALS: On their website, the job listing is rarely ever updated.  Which is annoying because we're both 18 and 17, and in need of jobs.  Badly.

This mall is relatively small compared to most malls.

It's for the middle class, the only semi 'upscale' stores are Coach, Sephora(soon to be there), Godiva, and if you're a 13-year-old..... Abercrombie & Fitch.

There's also an unnecessary amount of jewelry stores.

THE BUCKLE CHALLENGE

Who hasn't heard of the Buckle challenge?
It's when you try to touch the back wall of the store Buckle without one of the employees talking to you.
They work off of commission so they're competitive.

We did not make it : (

Friday nights are usually packed.  With middle school kids, and those high school kids who are stuck in that phase of emo-ness.
